Hello Joseph!

Either it's forced to by a resolution entry in the database, or because
it can't read the EDID info of the attached display-

> r...@saintonge # utresadm -o

On my system, I have:

  <shelob:/home/volker/tmp,3340> utresadm -o
  # Resolution export version=1 hostname=shelob
  # Resolution export started at 2010-02-08T18:03:00MET
  cid=IEEE802.080020f5ba82 token=user.1198765009-7053 res=1280x1...@85
  cid=IEEE802.080020f5ba82 token=user.1198765009-2914 res=1280x1...@85
  # Resolution export ended at 2010-02-08T18:03:00MET

These are the two DTUs I set the resolution explicitly. So the lack of
output probably only indicates that you haven't set anything explicitly...

... which seems to be confirmed by the "auto" in the screenDimensions
column.

Sorry, but I don't have anything more to suggest, if you have already
checked the cabling.

Good luck regardless -- Volker
