I've adjusted the lines as suggested and did a "utrestart -c" (just to be safe), but nothing has changed so far. Am I missing anything else? Are there any other pointers?

See changing the beginning of the /etc/sock2path file to the following resolves the issue.

       2 2 0 /dev/tcp
       2 2 6 /dev/tcp

       26 2 0 /dev/tcp6
       26 2 6 /dev/tcp6

       2 1 0 /dev/udp
       2 1 17 /dev/udp

       26 1 0 /dev/udp6
       26 1 17 /dev/udp6

I'm trying to get the Sun Desktop Access Client running within our Sun Ray environment (SRSS 4.2 on OpenSolaris 2009.06 x86). The real DTU's are working as expected, the soft client doesn't... The client gets an IP, also the green "check mark", but it's getting stuck at status 11, i.e. no login screen at all.

Installation has been done on a Windows XP host, firewall & virus scanner are temporarily deactivated. The "Sun Desktop Access Client" option has been enabled via Sun Ray web administration.

This is what I see in the log file:

Any ideas? Does is work in general with SRSS running on OpenSolaris?

Thanks,
