Etienne, What does the Event Log say on the Windows side? Do you get an error about not being able to issue a CAL? This happened to me: while I could connect to everything using a different SRS, when I used the problematic one, W2K8 connections would fail [didn't check the NIC activity, though].
I thought it might have something to do with the CAL database on the license server so I tried to delete the entry so it could get recreated but I was not successful. I don't think the problem was with the W2K8 server because I could RDP from a PC. Somehow, I thought the problem was either SRS-related or CAL-related [or both].
