Thanks Brad,
It is indeed nice when two answers both say the same thing ;-)

It would be very helpful to confirm operation with View 4.5, VMware's
latest, as Craig hinted he (or someone in Oracle) would look into. The
page you point at, same one Craig sent, states "certified" with View 4.0
and "compatible" with View 4.5. Weasel-words make me nervous.

Cheers,
Peter

4.5

SRVC 1.2 is supported and VMware certified. on View 3.5, 4.0.X -

http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php?action=search&deviceCategory=vdm&productId=2&advancedORbasic=advanced&maxDisplayRows=50&key=oracle&release%5B%5D=-1&datePosted=-1&partnerId%5B%5D=-1&rorre=0

It is unknown at this time if we need to change anything for 4.5

OK, I am officially confused. I have been trying to work out what is
available and/or supported for Sun Ray SRS 5 to integrate to virtual
desktops running in VMware View 4.5 environment. I have not been able to
find clear statements on specifically what combinations work, don't work,
or are officially supported / not. I've been looking through all the
documentation I could think of, but still not clear -- statements are
vague especially on combinations of versions.

More specifically:

- Does the SRVC 1.2 connector for VMware View (released July) work with
VMware View 4.5? Is it officially supported? (I see statements on View
4, so would that mean 4.5?)

- Same question, only with VDI 3.1.

Any clarification would be a big help. Or personal experiences doing
this. We are trying to steer a customer in the right direction ... or at
least not the wrong one ;-)

Cheers,
Peter
