hi Michael thanx for a quick response. i am using Oberthur AuthentICV3 smart card with their AuthenticWeb 4.4 middleware. i am using Oracle's pcsc 1.3, sun ray server 4.2, windows connector 2.2 to connect my sun ray 2 to windows. initially i was unable to connect to both windows 2003 and 2008, but then Oberthur identified the problem in pcsc lite compatibility. Oberthur's middleware is pcsc 1.6.4 compliant. they modified their code to remove functions not supported in pcsc 1.3. now i could successfully connect to windows 2003 but still i am unable to connect to windows 2008 as the session hangs after log on to windows.
