No, nothing is crashing.
The complaint is that if you leave the window open for some time it starts to degenerate and text becomes hard to read.
Moving the windows does not help.
Closing and opening the application solves the problem.

        will show up
           with gaps in them
           so you cannot work out what the letters are.  If we move
