Jon, your windows login doesn't change, just your Solaris/Kiosk login. The Kiosk userid is mostly irrelevant. It's only there to facilitate the underlying Solaris session.
I assume from your description of your printer setup that it is working for you. We, at "I", don't see CUPS used in this way often, but if it's working for you great! I don't see SRS Kiosk mode changing that.
