When you made the change, did it say you had to do a restart of the thin client
services ["utrestart -c" <cold> or "utrestart" <warm>]? Because it sounds like
the change was not propagated to other members of the FOG.

Subject: EXTERNAL:[SunRay-Users] kiosk mode problem

Hi All,

I am concerned that when we change the configuration via the Sun admin console,
on which server the system points to, it does not necessarily replicate
properly.

For example, I tell the system to point all users to Server2.  (Windows
terminal server)

After 1 day and the initial session being logged off, they system will still
point users to Server1 from the previous setting.

My main question is:  What has to be reset when making a change to the server
used.

We are using the most recent versions of all software (SRSS .42)

Note, this problem occurs after the Desktop and Token are cleaned up via the
Administration program.  We are not using a meta kiosk configuration. Purely
Terminal server.

Thanks,

Rob
