We're seeing this too with the Sun Ray 3 (customer has not yet confirmed on a 3+) where ddcconfig equals 0 and ends up running at 1024x768 instead of 1280x1024. I can reproduce this on a Sun 17" TFT Monitor.
Tends to happen when the device comes out of power save mode and I can reproduce it before it hits the Sun Ray server and picks up any session. I'm planning on logging a case for it but am currently unable to do so due to an issue with the migrated Sun / Oracle database but that's another story. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Craig Bender" <[email protected]> To: "SunRay-Users mailing list" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, 23 December, 2010 3:21:20 AM Subject: Re: [SunRay-Users] help sunray 3 not selecting correct monitor resolution Just so we can all be clear, a Sun Ray 3 or a Sun Ray 3+ ? What brand and monitor of monitor and what is it's native resolution? No KVM I presume? Monitor is on before the Sun Ray power cycles? DVI-I cable or is there a VGA adapter involved somewhere?
