Hi,

After configuring a three server VDI platform and verifying
that it works resonably well.

I found that one a minute utpushd is
trying to push to the domain name. Yes the literal DNS domain name.

The file /etc/opt/SUNWut/srds/current/utdsd.conf is shown below

I
have changed the domain name to xxx.

the log file contains the
following entries:

Apr 13 09:23:03 raysrv10 utpushd[1246]: [ID 263316
daemon.error] Retrying operation for DN
utid=00212839fcb1,utname=desktops,utname=raysrv10,o=v1,o=utdata on
replica .xxx.se:7012
Apr 13 09:23:03 raysrv10 utpushd[1246]: [ID 753682
daemon.error] Error: ldap_cram_md5_bind_s for .xxx.se:7012 failed: Can't
contact LDAP server

Somehow during the installtion of the triple VDI
cluster these two additional push_repilca_hosts with a mangled

hostname has been introduced into the utdsd.conf . what is the
procedure to remove the mangled entries.

do they dissapear properly
and in the right way if I just edit the utdsd.conf.

regards
