It still doesnt work with Solaris 11 Express. It wants to use the old firmware. Hmm... Tricky.

That command has set up the right firmware - for an environment where DTUs don't get configuration information from the Sun Ray server via DHCP.

# /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utfwadm -A -a -N all -f /opt/SUNWut/lib/firmware
All the units served by "frasse" on the 192.168.1.0
network interface, running firmware other than version
"4.3_50_2011.04.22.22.07" will be upgraded at their next power-on.
### stopped DHCP daemon
### started DHCP daemon
### reinitialized DHCP daemon

Now this command overwrites the results of the preceding command to point to the old server again and sets the DHCP server to tell DTUs to use the old firmware.

You need to use the same path with -f here as with the preceding command. You need to use that same path with ANY utfwadm command. If you have set up something specific for a single DTU, like

# ./utfwadm -A -e 00144f946b02
Unit "00144F946B02" will be upgraded at its next power-on
if it is served by host "frasse" and is connected to
the network and is not already running firmware
    version "4.3_50_2011.04.22.22.07".
### stopped DHCP daemon
### started DHCP daemon
### reinitialized DHCP daemon

then you need to reissue that command, also using the same -f option.

Or, to make your life simple, do manually what the patch would have done:

  # cp
Components/10-SRSS/Patches/solaris/sparc/146928-01/SUNWutfw/reloc/SUNWut/lib/firmware/*
/opt/SUNWut/lib/firmware/

Then you can continue without any -f options or with the -f options you are used to. But again, you need to repeat them all. It may be a good idea to start with 'utfwadm -R' to get rid of all the old configuration you have.
