It was dead easy on OpenIndiana, but is turning out not to be on Solaris 11.
Switching to a static IP is non trivial. The instructions for Express don't work. I did finally find the following command on the oracle forums and got it working, but I tried so many things before that I'm not sure it is all that's required. "netadm enable -p ncp DefaultFixed" I did get SRS to install and configure, but utadm is complaining about not being able to stop or start dhcp services. It says to restart dhcp manually, but it is not configuring the network. Hopefully Oracle will provide official support soon. ---- Keith Paskett On Nov 10, 2011, at 11:36 AM, Paul Whitener <[email protected]> wrote: > Those are the same ones I used for express.
