Greetings Dave!
Can you please try disabling Mobile Sessions (NSCM)? Since you don't
have the web admin working you'll need to do this via
/opt/SUNWut/sbin/utpolicy
First run utpolicy with no arguments. Note the options in the output,
these are your current settings.
Now run utpolicy with the same args, but drop the -M argument for mobile
sessions. Finally, perform a cold restart (/opt/SUNWut/sbin/utstart -c)
and see what happens.
Regarding the webserver, I'll see what I can find out. Just for kicks,
does your host file look like a normal "Solaris" host file? i.e. where
the host name is on it's own line associated with the primary IP and not
on the same line as localhost? Probably not the problem, but I know the
default host file format on Linux would cause the same problem you
describe with the Sun Ray admin gui (though for some reason it doesn't
affect the VDI admin GUI).

Hiya,
I'm pleased to report that I have Solaris 11 11/11 and SRS 5.2 (not 5.2.3) "just
about" working together; however, an issue arises which looks like the old (and
longstanding) gdm login problem from OpenSolaris, and which is preventing me getting on
and building a Sun Ray / Solaris 11 Trusted Extensions demo / test environment.
I first set up a static address on an interface, and then followed Bob Doolittle's notes
at http://wiki.sun-rays.org/index.php/SRS_5.1_on_Solaris_11_Express , using utadm -A to
specify the Sun Ray subnet; SUNWdhcs didn't add for reasons unknown ("not required
on the system" being the error reported) and as I'm using a WAN configuration,
svcadm disabling the DHCP server before running utinstall has most things working just
fine, ignoring the awk error about dhcp from utadm and the fact that the web cfg system
doesn't work at all (port 1660 doesn't redirect to 1661, and 1661 gives no response
either). Still, I get a session which works for keyboard, mouse and display (I'd expect
printing may have issues, I don't use USB, and I'm not in a position to test smartcards
yet).
However, the login screen presented on a Sun Ray in this config is the old
CDE-style one, and this is where I think the Trusted Extensions problem arises,
since after entering my username and password, I don't get the expected session
clearance builder window and the session sits at a blank screen for a minute or
so before returning to the login screen.
So, has anyone had this combination working with the gdm login screen, or
further info on getting Sol 11 / TX and SRS working together, please?
Cheers,
