However, on a separate VM running Sol 11 / SRS 5.2 without TX, it now gives me the Solaris 11 gdm login screen I was hoping for :-). Thanks a bunch! It's actually pretty likely that during my prodding and tweaking while trying to get my TX environment working, I managed to break something - so I'm building a fresh one from scratch, and will report back with my findings :-).
