Are you connecting to the VirtualBox VRDP port on the Hypervisor? (as opposed to 3389 on the VM itself) If so, yes, there were changes made to improve security by requiring VRDP connections to be authenticated with a 'one time' password negotiated within VDI/VBox. I'm not aware of a supported method to disable this security change, sorry. If I've misinterpreted your question, sorry!
