Hi Ivar,

Are you connecting to the VirtualBox VRDP port on the Hypervisor? (as opposed
to 3389 on the VM itself)

If so, yes, there were changes made to improve security by requiring VRDP
connections to be authenticated with a 'one time' password negotiated within
VDI/VBox.

I'm not aware of a supported method to disable this security change, sorry.

If I've misinterpreted your question, sorry!

Regards,

Kim

Subject: [SPAM] [SunRay-Users] Did something change in the security of the VDI
3.4 uttsc login?

Hello,

In VDI 3.2.2 is was possible to use uttsc to connect to a desktop VM
from the command line.
Now in 3.4 it seems to be blocked.
Is this a security enhancement I am not aware of?
If so, can it be disabled?
I use no ldap or AD user directory.

Kind regards,

Ivar
