Hi Ivar,
There's some information available at - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E26217_01/E26216/html/desktops-and-providers.html that might help. VRDP Connections The Oracle VM VirtualBox desktop provider can treat connecting to the host console and authenticating to the desktop operating system as separate steps, which do not need to occur at the same time. Since VRDP is a special case of RDP, VRDP connections are encrypted by default. Oracle VDI configures the virtual machine to require a secure, one-time password for RDP connections, made available only to authenticated Oracle Oracle VDI clients. If the guest OS supports this feature, then when the desktop becomes available for login, Oracle VDI cooperates with the Oracle VM Virtual Box guest extensions to provide automatic login to the desktop for the authenticated Oracle VDI user. This scenario does not apply, however, if Oracle VDI client authentication is disabled. It's not something I've looked at specifically on a documentation point as I recall when this was introduced. Hopefully it will lead you in a reasonable direction :) With thanks, Kim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ivar Janmaat" <[email protected]> To: "SunRay-Users mailing list" <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, 10 June, 2012 9:19:34 AM Subject: [SPAM] Re: [SunRay-Users] [SPAM] Did something change in the security of the VDI 3.4 uttsc login? Hello Kim, I am indeed using VRDP port on the Hyyperviser. Is this new feature somewhere documented?
