Hello.

I'm interesting in Sun Ray 3 Plus.
Is it possible to boot linux on it? Is there any status for linux
support? Where can I find its hardware specifications?

Likely not possible. AFAIK, SunRays included signed firmware and
chips to monitor that only vendor-signed firmwares are booted.
There were some different vendors, and they had to install their
own chips to confirm their own firmware builds for Sun Rays -
in this case Sun's or other vendors' firmwares would not boot.

Your only reasonable chance would be to somehow work around these
protections - which is likely not possible without physical
intervention into each DTU you want reflashed, and likely not
possible with such break-in either (not if the engineers made
some unforgivable mistakes in the design - which is unlikely).

Your other chance would be to get a deal with Oracle to become
an OEM vendor and receive your own firmware signature, etc.
But with Oracle's readiness to partner with small businesses,
I think this is an even slimmer chance ;)

I'd say "tell us how it goes", but you'd probably be under
an NDA if all does go well ;)

So, good luck!
