Last I heard there was a beta for the next SRS release that runs on OL6. Have
you heard something new in the past month or so that contradicts that? FYI,
they announced an Android client one day after your post.

Subject: [SunRay-Users] Realistic alternatives

Given the lack of traffic on this list and the distinct lack of interest from
Oracle in supporting SRSS in a modern multi-seat desktop environment (i.e. RHEL
or OEL 6), it stands to reason that some people have found some nice
alternatives.

What's the current state of the art with Linux desktop virtualisation? What I'm
interested in particularly is:

- Really thin, minimalist clients
- Hot desking
- Transparent audio
- Accelerated video transport

Kind regards,

John Francis
