Hello,

This should be simple because it was working before I removed then reinstalled the SRSS. No changes have been made to my hardware or networks.

I have successfully added an interface:

# /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utadm -a bge0

and a SunRay works plugged in to that port uses 192.168.128.0.

Additionally I want to use the local area network so do:

# /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utadm -A 192.168.1.0
# /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utadm -L on

I  restart:
# opt/SUNWut/sbin/utstart -c

The result is:

# /opt/SUNWut/sbin/utadm -l
LAN connections: On
Use IPv4 multicast
Subnetwork: 192.168.1.0
    Netmask=    255.255.255.0
    AuthSrvr=    192.168.1.100
    AltAuth=    192.168.1.100
    FirmwareSrvr=    192.168.1.100
    NewTver=    _NONE_
Subnetwork: 192.168.128.0
    Interface=    bge0 (192.168.128.1)
    Netmask=    255.255.255.0
    Broadcast=    192.168.128.255
    Router=        192.168.128.1
    AuthSrvr=    192.168.128.1
    AltAuth=    192.168.128.1
    FirmwareSrvr=    192.168.128.1
    NewTver=    _NONE_
    IP assignment=    1/225 (192.168.128.16)

However when a DTU is connect to the 192.168.1.0 network if does not work and just shows an OSD with number of 21 suggesting that it's connected but isn't being served by DHCP. Presumably DHCP is running else the bge0 option wouldn't work.

Given that this has worked I must have forgotten a step. Do I have to do additional DHCP configuration?

James.
