Hi all,

used also the new firmware after an upgrade of the production server to VDI
3.4.1 and run into similar issues and real show stoppers with
11.1.1.0_06_2013.03.01.22.48

- 26B against the old server (5.2.x) seems not to work anymore ... I'm ok with
that, just important to know ...

- power off is not honored anymore, none of the sunrays was shutting donw after
60 minutes I have configured in the .parms file !
- utresadm (e.g 1024x768) only works against SRS 5.4, but not any older ... e.g
5.3.1
- 11.1.1.0 burned down my production server with Xnewt spikes (the production
server is still on VDI 3.4.1 aka SRS 5.3.1) with a load of 50 for 100 Users
because of the Xnewt issues => don't use this combination I still have SR open
which was Severity 1 the last two days ... I did an emergency update on one of
my test servers to VDI 3.5 aka SRS 5.4 and run there currently with a load 14
now for 150 users !!!

So I'm intending to force a downgrade to an earlier version of the FW, what
would you recommend ?

regards, thomas

What ustresadm command did you use to set it? Unlike utsettings, it's pretty
sticky, but you have to do it correctly.

If you just type utresadm, what output do you get?

What's the make and model of the monitor?

Can you also provide your utxconfig settings for your token? utxconfig -l (run
from within your session)

If possible, can you also provide xrandr -q output? (run from withing your
session)
