Hello everyone,
I am trying to get working "3M Microtouch Cleartek USB touchscreen" with
SunRay clients connected to windows (7 or XP). I am using latest windows
connector which was packaged with SunRay Server 5.4. I have installed
touchscreen driver for windows and it works when directly connected to the
computer. I have read somewhere that you need to install touchscreen driver
to Solaris, which seems odd to me when I need just to redirect its output
to windows machine - but there is no driver for Oracle Solaris.

I have (maybe) found one interesting thing for everyone who would want to
use USB touchscreens at
http://docs.oracle.com/html/E22661_15/Windows-USB-Device-Redirection.html
-> "Human Interface Devices (HID) such as keyboards and mice do not use the
USB redirection component"
Touchscreen is presented as HID - does that mean that I need to force the
redirection?

My questions are:
- Is it true that there is no way to use touchscreens with SunRays?
- (If there is a way) How should I redirect its input or get that bloody
touchscreen to work? :)

P.S.
A little fairytale for you ;)
Once upon a time there was one website, only one, where you could get this
precious touchscreen driver for Oracle Solaris. That would probably solve
all the problems with connecting 3M touchscreens to SunRays. Unfortunately,
this website is now offline and nobody answers on emails. One person saved
their internet pages before they got offline and so you can see how they
looked http://test.fangleart.com/_accutech/2_product_04.html

Thanks,
J. Peters
