Hello all,
We are upgrading from vmware view 4.5 to vmware Horizon View 5.2 and
intend to keep our sunrays for the foreseeable future. I am using
metakiosk to provide multiple kiosk session types and intended to
modify the metakiosk scripts to create a new kiosk type that would
connect sunrays to the new view 5.2 system. I had intended to just
create a new.conf file that sent the new server name to the VDM
session type. I have used this method with UTTSC to attach to
different terminal servers with good success.
My concern with the VDM session type is with ssl. I am using ssl now
with our old view system and it is working fine, but when I add the
new sessions to the new servers, can I have 2 different certificates
in use by the sunray software for connection to vmware view? One for
the old system, and one for the new?
Ideas?
By default vdm kiosk session script uses the keystore location at
/etc/opt/SUNWkio/sessions/keystore.
If you define a new vdm kiosk session config and point the new vdm
keystore location in vdm kiosk
script , then it might work. We have not tried this.
