I guess I'm a "new" Sunscreem fan. Although I bought O3 when Love You More
was popular here in the states, it didn't really strike a chord with me at
that time. If you divide the cost you pay by the times you listen, I was
still in the $.25 to $.50 range.
About a year ago I listened to it again a few times and really got into Your
Hands, and then mentioned something about them on BONG, the Depute Mode
mailing list. Someone encouraged me to get Change Or Die, which I did and
loved it. My brother and I play it *all* the time - my girlfriend kind of
gets annoyed ;-) (Whenever she hears anything Sunscreem-y now she chants,
"Ex-o-dus").
Next I picked up a new copy of NDT, and finally I recently started listening
to O3 a lot - I think it's in the $.01 to $.05 per listen zone now. It's
interesting to me that I like it a lot better now after hearing all of their
more recent stuff. I loved Change Or Die instantly, but until I had it for
context I didn't love O3!
On another subject, what do people think of the name Ooteegee for a band?
Can anyone figure out the popular film reference?
