CD still rules, but it depends what you're going to do with it.
On the fly recording and editing, MD wins every time.
Listening to music CDs win hands down.
Storing master tapes/data/samples CD wins every time. I've never had a
CD loose it's TOC (Table of contents) for no apparent reason, but I've
had plenty of MDs do it...
It all boils down to personal preferance. I've grown to appreciate MD
for the different uses that you can's do on CD, but for listening to
music I'd always use CD.

an opus 3 sampler together for people if they're interested. hey, general
question for people - without getting into a sound quality/audio compression
debate, do people generally prefer md or cd format?
