For regular "albums" (such a quaint term nowadays ;) ) that a particular artist may
release, CD's, I agree, are the way to go.

If you're aware of or into the notion of "home recording" and you do alot of
homemade mixes (like me, having lots of cassettes with lots of different artists on
'em), MD is a *great* successor to tape... no more eaten tapes... but then again,
if the Table of Contents ever get messed up an MD, it's the equivalent!  :-P

(with tape it's salvageable:  if push comes to shove, one can always tape together
broken cassette tape.  Or carefully reel all the tape back in...)
