Our neighbor is 78 or 87 (by the looks of it he's
closer to 187)... he is some sort of freak. When we
first moved in his was very nice.
He started working in his yard, and then would accuse
us of leaving debri that he left from working, in his
yard.
Soon, he was telling my ex that I was a bitch and that
he was a 'fag' (he has long hair, i have short hair).
It later turned into threats (even tried to hit my ex
with a hammer).
We filed a report, unfortunately he's old. Old people
aren't seen as threats. So even though to this day he
laughs this manical laugh when I walk down the stairs
(we share stairs), and he calls me a 'whore' and
'working girl' in front of my 2 1/2 year old son...
there is little to be done.
He even filed a false report claiming we were growing
pot in our house. The cops busted into our house,
hand cuffed every single person (had two friends over,
one who is studying to be an aeronautical engineer for
the gov. and another who is not a citizen of the us
and in the midst of dealing with asylum), wouldn't let
me or my ex get to our son while he cried and went
through our house. They found nothing... and seemed
very distraught when I mentioned that the neighbor had
threatened us with such a thing.
We are musicians and lvoe music. Too much noise and
he's banging doors and calling the cops and because of
the close vicinity of the houses, we can't be loud at
any time of the day.
I think when summer comes I am going to take our sound
system and point it towards the windows that are
pointing towards his house and put cd's in the player
and just blast ... leather strip, front line assembly,
(i wouldn't play sunscreem as well, their music is
very pleasant... not abrasive at all, so i wouldn't
want to use their music in a rude way such as that)...
we have a full Lucasfilm THX system, with the 12"
subwoofers and all ... quite loud.
