There is bound to be somebody else who will need to know where that thing
is.  I finally found it thanks to Jeff's photos.  It's burried beneath the
upside-down hard drive and the floppy.  The floppy actually moves out of the
way easily.  Just lift the two tabs in front and pull forward.  I didn't
look there because I didn't think they would hide the battery where it would
be so hard to access it.  I thought it might have been under the mass of
cables I accumulated.  Anyway, add this to our faq.  ;-)
