Apparently "low level" formatting is for scsi drives only. Just use the "zero all
data" option instead for an IDE drive.
As far as I know the type of formatting does not affect drive setup's ability to map
out bad blocks. Just make sure you run the scan test so it knows where the bad blocks
are...
