I'm sunk. After spending an entire day working on a particular project file/folder - I just copied the entire older (Zip) folder over the newer version on my HD and watched the lump in my throat sink and sink and broke out in a sweat. After searching for a while on Internet - I learned about the Product 'Rewind' - but alas - it is to late for that, as it should be installed before and not after (wish I had that product now). Does anyone know of any other way of recovering an accidentally overwritten file(s) on an 8.6OS? Or should I just swallow the lump in my throat the rest of the way? I feel like it is hopeless. Am I right? You'll be a huge lifesaver.
