I had 400 megs of RAM in my S900, two modules of which were 128meg DIMMS
from Velocity, that I'd bought in May. I tested the RAM when I got it and it
passed nearly 200 iterations in Gauge Pro, and TechTool. It seemed to work
fine, few crashes, nothing out of the ordinary.

I buy another S900, and divide all my RAM, so one machine now has 304 megs
of RAM, two of which are those same two Velocity DIMMS. Crash, type 3, 2,
10, & 11, failures every minute. I test the RAM again, FAILURE! The Velocity
DIMMS, or one of them at least, now fails early in the test phase.

Explain that to me? I spent two days troubleshooting software and SCSI
problems because I thought it couldn't be the RAM. It's the RAM, the same
RAM I used for two months with no trouble in another machine.

BTW, the motherboard RAM on the new machine tested fine. It's the Velocity
DIMMS for sure.
