Geoffrey, Here's where to check archives: http://mail.maclaunch.com/lists/supermacs/List.html > Secondly, I just bought the Ultratek/66 for my Mom and am going to install it > with a 40gb drive after she finishes her work (newspaper) for the month. If so, how do I do it? I purchased the card over a month ago and have had fine luck with it. While I'm using OS 8.6, I will soon be upgrading to 9.1 but I 'expect' no problems there. Jeff pointed out a potential incompatibility, but hopefully that will be worked out. We'll also have to see if anybody else using the same card experiences it. So far that card has been working fine running two ide drives I have installed. I don't think you made a mistake in buying it, especially if it is used for mainstream utilization. Dave s900 Newertech G3, Twin Turbo mb8, Firewire and USB Cards, VST Ultratek 66 / w/ the update installed. -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
