After extensive searching at lowendmac.com, supermac.com, umax.com, and Google, it seems that Daystar Digital used to provide updates (sometimes free, sometimes not) but they seem to have completely vanished (daystar.com is for a Televangelist network). So, my question is this: Was a MP patch/extension ever released to work with OS 9.x? If so, where can one obtain it? If not, am I stuck on OS 8.6 using both processors, or is there another way to get MP support in OS 9.x? >> OS 9.1 comes with a multi-processing extension called "Apple CPU Plug-ins". I have been running OS 9 on my S900 for some time now and it works great. I have also upgraded to a G3/400 wiht an XLR8 upgrade card so that might have something to do with it.
