Thanks Will.  That's what I need to do.   Buying somewhere that will 
take it back is a good idea too.  In my case, I specifically want it 
to work with my Acer 16X DVD drive.  I was surprised when you said 
that Frys is good about taking things back.  I've heard just the 
opposite, but that's old info from forums like DealChat.  They just 
opened a Frys here in the last year so I would like for them to be 
good about taking things back.
