Apple may surprise the World with a super fast Power Mac in June at
MacWorld. It would be running OSX with an AMD 64 bit CPU! While it
would be OSX running on a superfast X86 chip it would run on only the
Special AMD chip . It would not run on Intel chips ! If true this
will be a first. The rumor seems to largely be based on the fact that
it has been found that both ATI and Nvidia are working on video cards
for this platform! Sorry if this is too off topic for the group.
