You can use anything you like as long as none of the circuit board or
components touch anything metal (or conductive). Loads of PC overclockers
don't even bother putting their systems in a case, but just have them
mounted on a little table to allow easy changing of cards, ram, processors,
watercooling rigs etc.

just make sure you use nylon or wood posts to raise the MB off whatever you
are mounting it to.
