Well, Jeff, I humbly kneel before you with my head upon the alter. I used my blower on the cdrom and, well, er, ok, it now reads the Memorex CD's, yes, just like normal.
So, what'd you do huh? Did you send some secret voodoo code embedded in your last e-mail to me? Voodoo I tell you, its Voodoo! Still, this makes absolutely no sense because it was reading at least 5 other brands of burns just like normal when it couldn't read any of the 10 Mem's. It even read two cheapo no-name brands that were burned on peecees just fine. The humility of this alone is too much to bare. Anyway, thank you Paul for the info as well. That page offers just about everything a person needs to know about cdr&w's. I'm not really certain where the optical head is in this drive, not visible from the front when open.
