Sorry I mislead/misinformed you earlier.

After taking a look at the Proxim site, I was pleasantly surprised. 
About 18 months ago someone gave me a Farallon PCMCIA card for a laptop.
 That was prior to Proxim's ownership of Farallon.  Looks like they have
made some major improvements to wireless communication hardware, and us
lowly Mac owners are included for a change!

I have been interested in some of the security features of the newest
Apple Base Station.  I wonder now, if it is compatible with some of the
Proxim products.  (I also wonder how many feet it is to my business...
that new iLamp has an Airport card slot in it)
