I'm using an Acard/66 with IBM 120gig drive on the master end of the cable, but have had no luck mounting a Maxtor 92041U4 20gig drive on the slave connector, the pins are jumpered as slave. this is on channel one. On channel two I have a Yamaha 16/10/40 as master. I have tried putting the Maxtor as the slave and master on both channels with no luck. I have tried drive set-up & Mount Everything to try and mount it, but no go. It shows up fine in the Apple System Profiler, & it's not conflicting with any other drive in the system.
BTW I have an S900/Akia 225 with 80MB's Ram, & an Ultimate Rez Card The Acard is in slot 1, the Ultimate Rez in slot 6.
