Just so I understand what's going on;
You're not doing an installation but extracting 9.2 components and adding to 
9.1 ?

Yes, but Ive tried both methods...I extracted the elements adding to 
9.1....and I also did a complete install of 9.2.....the complete install of 
9.2 didnt work as I couldnt boot up my system afterwards...and the component 
installation worked...but FCP still didnt recognize the system to be able to 
start up. So its  catch-22.
