Hi all, I just threw out the 2nd CPU from my S900 (2x233 mhz), just to try if the jumper settings for single processor usage were right - I�m thinking about upgrading to G3 and giving the main CPU card to a friend. But now I wonder if the second CPU does slow down normal (non-MP) applications, because everything feels faster without it, esp. starting programs and working in Finder. The CPU speed of both cards is the same, no bus speed change. I did no benchmark, it�s just a subjective feeling. Any information on this?
