Hi, I had the same problem with a powertower pro. I think the solution was multi-resolutions, e.g. from this page: http://www.qualitas-japan.co.jp/qjo/products/techworks/techworks_download.html This is the freeware control strip, not the shareware control panel. One caveat is that the said computer is still running 8.1. It might not work with later OS versions.
