The adapter *does* fix the problem of the Twin Turbo card losing resolution on restart. I have restarted several times and I always have my 1024 x 768 resolution and the ability to change to other resolutions. >> I agree with this. In the past, I also used a MAC adapter with the Twin Turbo/MacMagic Voodoo1 combination and never had resolution problems. When I ditched the Twin Turbo/MacMagic for a Voodoo 5 card, resolution problems started. Sometimes I'll boot in at 640X480 but once I get to the desktop it will switch back to original settings. I also get icons all over the place from certain games but Desktop Resetter fixes that. The monitor has a PC plug and so does the Voodoo card so I am currently using no adapter. The danger with this is ALL possible resolutions are displayed (not just the supported MAC resolutions) so it was trial an error to find which ones actually worked with my monitor.
