Does anyone know where this is found I belive it is from OS 8.6 and up but for sure with OS 9.x You could try www.power-on.com our list sponsor they don't show them on their web site but that don't mean anything. They often don't show the small parts. CD audio cables are a PC and Mac clone thing. Apple machines don't use them. They have a plug that fits on the cd player that slides into a plug on the motherboard. I just did a www.google.com search for "CD Audio cable" and got a ton of listings. $.99 to $8.95 plus shipping. You are looking for the Universal CD audio cable. It has two or 3 plugs on each end. You use the one that fits.Three and four wires don't make a difference. 3 wire uses a common ground 4 wire separate grounds for left and right. later Will S
