Alan, 

I just had to add in here, that I have gotten several of those strange 
SPAM, e-mails myself. But I also got a Lot that would have a "Dot"
in the text area, Nothing else, just a Dot.

These are just as annoying as all the other SPAM, & I am beginning
to think some of the spam is being authorized through our ISP.
Our ISP, Atlantic net was great about keeping most SPAM blocked
until this year. They said they UPgraded their blocker...  Humm
