Eudora 5.1 also has a setting at Eudora: Special:Settings:Internet Dialup. That will close the connection if Eudora connected it. Eudora Light 3.0x also has this feature but I don't have it's exact location handy since I upgraded to 5.1. Jeff is right on about other connections. There is also a neat little Freeware Extension called ICeTEe 2 that will allow any URL to be double clicked in any word processor to connect and go to the URL. I use it to copy/paste interesting URL's from email to Note Book for exploring later. Here is a clip fromthe ICeTEe 2 Read Me: ************* ICeTEe 2 by Michael Schrig, 1997 This is an enhanced version of the ICeTEe 2 : ICeTEe Goody included with Internet Config by Peter N. Lewis and Quinn "The Eskimo". You need to have Internet Config anyway to use ICeTEe 2 so please have a look at their ReadMe as well. The information therein applies as well. *********** A google search should find a source for ICeTEe 2. Ernie -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
