Hello! Since I performed a clean install of OS 9.1 (!) on my C500 the CD Player icon does not appear on the desktop, even though it appears in the System Profiler as having "No media inserted" (But there is). Could it be that I have binned some necessary software in the original system (OS 7.6)? If this is so what can I do about it? HELP!!!!!!!! Ramon
