Yes, I am running two hard drives on my Tempo ATA 66 card both set as 
master on different Cables no problems either will boot just fine. 
Should be able to run 4 drives on the card. I'm not sure the slave 
drives will boot they don't on PC's. Someone else will perhaps know. 
I did run a DVD as a slave for a while worked fine but it was pushing 
my power supply too hard I think.I have 2 IDE drives 2 SCSI drives 
and a SCSI cd player. All inside the J700. 5 drives are fine but with 
6 I get a slow down which goes away with 5 drives.I have a spare 
power supply but didn't try it. Will S
