For the lower resolution printing C555 there are Mac drivers available. I
have the higher resolution printing C755, but there are only currently
Windows drivers available for it. Both are USB and basically the same
design, with a slightly different printer engine. I have tried the C555
drivers for the C755 but to no avail. Probable could tweak the C555 drivers
some way, but I don't have enough time/knowledge to do that. If there were
Unix drivers available then could probably be tweaked fairly easily for
working with OSX. I haven't gotten round to sending an e-mail to Canon to
ask if they ever plan any Mac drivers for the C755 but don't really expect
an enthusiastic reply from them either. They are nice machines, especially
for the space conscious. Not sure of any newly released models though.

Just noticed on xlr8yourmac.com that HP have released new drivers for their
series 900 multifunction machines (OS 9.1 and up, plus OSX), so
compatibility-wise this might be the better way to go.

Would love to hear of anybody knowing of any tweaks for the Canon C755
though :-).

Cheers, Pete.

P.S. Am running 2x S900s and some Windows machines (on which the
multifunctionability works very well. For all the image manipulation I do
on my Macs though I wish Canon did have drivers for the higher resolution
printing multifunction machines).
