Dear List members, This one has me stumped and I hope someone has been down the path before and can keep me from pounding my head raw ?
My sons C600 has lost all its sound no headphone, front speaker or rear speaker output. Reset Cuda, reseated memory and processor, checked all wires. Control panel acts and appears ok, in an attempt to isolate the problem formatted an extra drive with OEM Umax 7.5 ( normanly running 8.6) and still no sound ? Any ideas ? Or can I uses a PCI based sound card to route sound functions and if so does anyone know of a card that might work ?
