I recently got an external SCSI drive as a backup HD-I
read the letters about not using FW for such a
purpose. When I went to initialize it FWB told me
that it couldn't/wouldn't initialize an 'unsupported
drive'. What is an 'unsupported drive' and can
anything be done about it?

I am leaving at the end of the week for a month. What
should I do with my computer and Epson 860 printer to
store them for a month. I had thought of
disconnecting the drives from cables and power--last
year I returned to a HD that wouldn't run. Printer???
